Bidvertiser Review
I’m sure by now a lot of you reading this have already tried or have seen ads for Bidvertiser. I signed up with them a while back for one of my other sites but never used them till now. It does seem to have some advantages and disadvantages, and if you are looking for an Adsense alternative this one does come recommended by a lot of bloggers. You will notice at the bottom of the post and a few referral ads on the site to test them out. Bidvertiser is a PPC text ad network that offers you to sell text ads on your site. Unlike other ad networks Bidvertiser is not a contextual but the user determines the best category for there site to be placed. This is great if your site is about “Advertising, Marketing & SEO” then you will have ads about “Advertising, Marketing & SEO” instead of ads selling pet supplies. The first thing I noticed that I liked about Bidvertiser was they offer a low $10 payout, unlike Adsense that is $100 (which seems like a lot of waiting to get paid if you are just starting out), so it is good for small blogs. Bidvertiser also does not have as strict of guidelines as some of the other sites so if you are not approved for one of those then try Bidvertiser. Here are some other advantages of Bidversiter: *You can approve or decline any ad that shows up on your site which is great sense you can approve higher bidders and get paid more for click. Unlike Adsense where you can only filter ads and in my experience it dose not seem to work well anyway. *If you do the above the PCP is a lot higher that Adsense. Only the highest bidder ads will be shown on your site. Advertisers bid against each otehr to be displayed on your site. *Detailed reports. *The ads are easy to set up. If you have any experience with Adsense or other Ad network then this is no problem for you, but if you are not the steps are pertty easy to follow to get ads placed on your site. *Bidvertiser makes it easy to be a publisher, advertiser and use the referral program under one account. There referral program seems to be a good deal. (see below) The referral: *When a user signs as an advertiser and first spends $10, we’ll credit your account with $5. When that same advertiser spends $50, you will be credited with an additional $20. *When a user signs as a publisher and first earns $10, we’ll credit your account with $10. When that same publisher earns $50, you will be credited with an additional $40. Advertisers: *Receive $20 at sign-up. Some of Bidversiter disadvantages: *They only offer Text ads. I prefer graphic banners in most cases. *I have more than one site, so if you want to run more that one 125×125 ad with a different look you have to have a different account for each site. (You may correct me on this if I’m wrong, but I have not found this option anywhere). *You can only select one ad size for your site. Bidverster Payment Information: How are payments made? Payments are sent via check or PayPal on a monthly basis within 30 days after the end of each calendar month. When do I get paid? If you have chosen to be paid by PayPal, Bidvertiser will issue payment 30 days after the end of each calendar month that Bidvertiser ads are running on your site if your earned balance is US $10.00 or more This is my thoughts so far on the Bidvertiser ad network. I am going to give them a test run and see how well it goes. Check back for updates. |
